What did you see?

The day is drawing to a close and the question i ask myself (and to the few that may read this) is
Where did I see Christ Today? Did I see His mission working in me? Did I see Him working in someone else? Did I see His grace and mercy?
Did I see Jesus in my world toady? Did you?

Had a thought...

Can we be too committed? I mean most of the time it is a good thing (G-d, marriage, family would be a good place to be committed). Here is a list of things maybe we are too committed to:

Too committed to comfort
Too committed to self, our way or always being right
Too committed to money
Too committed to an idea
Too committed to tradition
Too committed to coffee : )
Too committed to a feeling/emotions
Too committed to a plan
Too committed to a place
Too committed to a schedule
Too committed to __¬¬____ (fill in the blank)

Just a thought ( :

Risky Riding

I enjoy the adventure of riding my bike. I love moving down hills at speeds that make me nervous. I’m becoming tolerant to riding up hill at speeds that make me sick. I enjoy the sense of accomplishment after a ride is over. However, all of this is great, but it almost ended today.

I took a turn too early and to my surprise a full sized truck was turning in my path. With G-ds grace he stopped and I moved quickly out of the way. My heart picked up a few extra beats. He almost got me.
And that’s why I love riding, I think?

Maybe I should abide by the rules of the road?
Maybe I should yield to a half ton truck?
Maybe I should ride on the sidewalk?
Maybe I should be more cautious?
Maybe I should leave my bike on the rack?
But where would the fun be in that?

Take a risk!

Get off the sidewalk of life and ride! Yes be smart, but don’t let caution stop you!
Take the down hills of life with speeds that make you nervous. And fight hard to get to the top of the hills. When a half ton truck is staring at you just keep moving (out of the way).
Join the adventure of living.

Either I follow Christ or I don’t

either I practice what Christ said or I don’t
either I seek to know Him or I don’t
either I forgive (because He forgave me) or I don’t
either I have compassion or I don’t
either I love or I don’t
Either I follow Christ or I don’t

Do you practice what you say?
